You always heard the good things about fairies as a child. They granted wishes, brought your soulmate, gave you hope. It was all blue moons and magical fairy dust. But in Melissa Marr’s “Wicked Lovely”, she decided to go dark when it comes to fairies.
And when I say dark, I mean DARK.

Talk about a book that leaves you speechless in the end. HOLY SHIT!
When I first started watching Booktube, it seemed like EVERYONE was reading or had read this book. It got good reviews after good reviews after great reviews, I had no choice but to grab it when I saw it in the book section in Target. “Top 13 of 2013” book videos had “The Darkest Minds” as their number #1 constantly!
Do you see where I’m getting at?
And to be honest, I didn’t want to like this book. I really didn’t! Everyone was reading it….it was such a bandwagon read.
